This lodge was beautiful!
! It has everything you need to have a very comfortable stay, it was very well equipped and finished to a high standard, brean country club site was very peaceful which made sitting/ sunbathing on the lovely sofa on the decking very relaxing. We really enjoyed RJâs night time entertainment too. It was around a 10 minute walk to the beach which was a nice beach for walking, we used the splash park twice which the kids absolutely loved I also went on all the slides and very much enjoyed the experience. This is the first time I have had to pay to use the pool when visiting a holiday park as itâs normally included with the price of the holiday, it cost us £18 every time we wanted to swim which was a shame because my kids would have loved to have gone every day. The park was with in easy reach of western super mere which we enjoyed having a walk round. We also visited Bath which was 1 hour 40 mins away, Torquay which was absolutely stunning and spend the whole afternoon paddling and playing in the sea which was 1 hour 20 mins away and. Glastonbury which was 45 mins away, There were a lot of road works on the M5 which held us back from more exploring near Bristol, iI have mentioned this to help others to plan any day trips to allow more travel time, Due to this reason we decided to leave the night before to miss sitting for hours on the motorway the following day if we checked out at 10am, I was a bit gutted but having three children it made sense and we did miss all the traffic driving home through the night. we would like to thank sue the owner for a lovely stay. Fantastic accommodation!
The owners made us feel very welcome during our stay at Vine Lodge. The property is very well equipped with a large kitchen and open plan dining / living space. It has a wood heater but was barely needed as the underfloor heating kept the property comfortable and warm. Lots of windows to let the light in and it was nice to watch the bunnies and squirrels run around outside. A great location to experience country living and the picturesque stone villages nearby. Many great locations are within easy reach for a day trip including Bridport / West Bay, Lyme Regis and Beer. Andy and Tha were always available should we need anything and only too happy to help make our stay more comfortable. They were happy to chat with us showing us around their property and giving us good tips on things to see and do in the area. A spacious property in a stunning countryside location to explore the surrounding region. We would happily stay again!

We had a wonderful time in this really excellent cottage.
We came here for a weeks Geocaching (We found 200). The hosts Andy and Tha were very helpful and very friendly. The cottage was even better than the photos suggested. It was large and very comfortable. It had everything that we needed and everything was in good condition. Lots of free cupboard space which is unusual. Lots of grounds to explore. Wifi was generally reliable. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and hope to return if the Geocaching allows. A real treat for us was a pair of young tawny owls which were there almost every night. They perched on the gate which was about 6 feet from the bedroom window and we were able to stand indoors and watch them.

Pear Tree Cottage is set in a very peaceful relaxing location attached to the owners property.
Sue (owner/host) was there to greet us as we arrived and took us around the property and told us how everything worked. The cottage is very spacious, particularly for 2 people, and had everything there we wanted. It was interesting to read how it was created. The garden is lovely but the weather was against us and didn't get a chance to sit out in it. A lovely car port to park the car and wide spacious drive for manoeuvring. Location is great for all places of interest. Forgot to mention the cream tea that Sue greeted us with! thank you Sue, it was very much appreciated. Would definitely recommend this property, particularly for those that like peace and quiet.
