      Such a beautifully designed and furnished house, tucked away in a quiet corner at the end of the Close. It was absolutely ideal for our group of 8 friends and family as we gathered to celebrate a 70th birthday. Everything was so clean, fresh, warm and welcoming on our arrival. The bedrooms have a luxurious feel with good quality bedding, towels and robes. One of the group is a wheelchair-user so the downstairs bedroom was ideal (although the shower room isn’t wheelchair accessible and you will need a degree of independent mobility to use it). The open plan lounge area is large enough to accommodate everyone comfortably and the separate lounge with log burner is a lovely cosy alternative. The kitchen is well-equipped but, because we were there for the week, we could have done with a casserole dish so you might want to take your own if you want to leave something slow-cooking whilst you’re out and about. All-in-all we had a fabulous week in a fabulous house. Thank you!

The location of the property could not be better, the walk to the beach is a perfect distance for little and old legs, away from traffic with stunning views. Brancaster Beach is one of the best in Norfolk, stunning with great facilities. The house is on a stretch of coast incredibly well served by great eateries and pubs - no need to cook. But the house was also great to cook in - well equipped to entertain 3 generations and feed 10. The beds were very comfortable, showers good and we really appreciated the provision of beach towels - thanks Tim & Jax for a great stay!

      We had an amazing time at Tim and Jax’s place! The house is in a beautiful and peaceful location, approx 10 mins walk on footpath or so from Brancaster beach. We were three families (11 of us altogether) and the house had so much space to accommodate us. Lots of light, great views, quiet and peaceful - we didn’t want to leave! Jax, the owner was a brilliant host - responsive and really friendly and she gave us a great recommendation for local fish and chips - Eric’s at Thornham (6 mins drive - so you can takeaway or eat in at their restaurant) - highly recommend! Jax was also really flexible with check in time when we requested to arrive earlier, which was much appreciated. Thanks Jax! We can’t recommend Saltingsgarth enough!

    Wells-next-the-Sea Beach

    Wells Beach is easily one of Norfolk's finest. The sand goes on for miles and miles and hundreds of quirky colourful beach huts on stilts, run along the pine forest wall and back dunes. You can access the beach via the nearby carpark or it's a short walk or miniature rail ride from town along the East Fleet river.

    Old Hunstanton

    Old Hunstanton is a small village adjacent to Hunstanton, a major seaside resort. Unlike its busy sibling, Old Hunstanton retains its quiet character, it has a clifftop walk along the stripped cliffs where you will pass Old Hunstanton Lighthouse and ruins of St Edmund's Chapel. A stunning 40-mile stretch of Norfolk coast path starts near Old Hunstanton. The large sandy beach has sand dunes and is popular with kite surfers and families alike. The Old Town Beach Cafe on the beach serves up delicious food and drinks and is dog friendly.

Because of the large population of Common Seals and Grey Seals along this stretch of the North Norfolk coast, the seal hospital cares for injured and vulnerable seals and seal pups until they can be released back into the wild. As well as the penguin beach, you can see insects and creepy crawlies at Rainforest Ranger basecamp, then walk through the ocean tunnel and see a huge variety of sea creatures.
