      The Cottage was a perfect place to stay to celebrate my wife’s 60th birthday. It was spacious and beautifully decorated. The welcome pack and a large carton of milk were a nice touch. Family and friends joined us for our stay and were really impressed with the property. The owners have thought of everything to make sure their visitors have a wonderful stay. The cottage is really well located under an archway just off the quayside and is close to shops, cafes and pubs. I was worried parking would be an issue but we parked at Stearman’s Yard long stay car park just 5 mins walk away at a cost of £8.50 for 24 hours. You can get a weekly ticket if staying longer. I would highly recommend this cottage in the beautiful town of Wells-Next-The-Sea.

We’ve never stayed in a place so well equipped, including toilet rolls, tea, coffee, bin liners. Even dog bowls and dog poo bags. There were also board games. There were also biscuits and chocolate when we arrived. Was a nice touch that the owner phoned us upon arrival to check we had settled in. The living room is very cosy with a log burner and there was a bag of logs. There is a safe enclosed courtyard which is ideal for dog owners. The kitchen has washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. Ideal location, well recommend

      Another great week in Burnham Market staying at Palgrave Barn for the third time. Very happy with the property as always. Such a lovely place to come back to and relax. We visited Holkham Park and Holkham Beach (my favourite in the area), Brancaster Beach and Wells. Also went further afield to Cromer and Overstrand. We did a great walk taking in Cley, Blakeney and Wiveton. Best coffee and cake were at the Art Café close to Wiveton. Great dinner (it was Norfolk restaurant week) at The Hoste and the best Fish and Chips at Eric’s Thornham – so good we went there twice!

      Luggers cottage is in a beautiful part of Norfolk, our first time visiting wells next to the sea and we were not disappointed the holiday was made even more perfect by the property we rented , they have thought of everything, we have two girls under 10 who were safe to play in the outdoor space. My mum also came with us and had her own room up in the attic space which was beautifully decorated as were all the rooms . Definitely worth the money and worth a visit . We will be back again

    Hunstanton Heritage Gardens

    Overlooking the only stretch of the eastern coast facing west, the Hunstanton Heritage Gardens is a public open space. Views across the Wash are spectacular at sunset. Hunstanton's only significant open space covers approximately 6.8 hectares. A Victorian promenade garden with formally laid out annual beds, the Esplanade Gardens remain remarkably unchanged since they were built. The Green, Hunstanton, Norfolk, PE36 6BQ

    Wells-next-the-Sea Beach

    Wells Beach is easily one of Norfolk's finest. The sand goes on for miles and miles and hundreds of quirky colourful beach huts on stilts, run along the pine forest wall and back dunes. You can access the beach via the nearby carpark or it's a short walk or miniature rail ride from town along the East Fleet river.

    Old Hunstanton

    Old Hunstanton is a small village adjacent to Hunstanton, a major seaside resort. Unlike its busy sibling, Old Hunstanton retains its quiet character, it has a clifftop walk along the stripped cliffs where you will pass Old Hunstanton Lighthouse and ruins of St Edmund's Chapel. A stunning 40-mile stretch of Norfolk coast path starts near Old Hunstanton. The large sandy beach has sand dunes and is popular with kite surfers and families alike. The Old Town Beach Cafe on the beach serves up delicious food and drinks and is dog friendly.

    SEA LIFE Hunstanton

    On the South Promenade in Hunstanton is the SEA LIFE sanctuary and aquarium. It's a popular family attraction that also houses Norfolk's Seal Rescue Center and Hospital. Because of the large population of Common Seals and Grey Seals along this stretch of the North Norfolk coast, the seal hospital cares for injured and vulnerable seals and seal pups until they can be released back into the wild. As well as the penguin beach, you can see insects and creepy crawlies at Rainforest Ranger basecamp, then walk through the ocean tunnel and see a huge variety of sea creatures. It is mostly wheelchair and mobility scooter friendly. Toilets and a cafe.
