What our customers say about their holidays

    • Mrs Elaine Scott - Verified booking

The house is in a great location and has plenty of space. Unfortunately we didn't find it child friendly or spotlessly clean On the children friendly side ,,the kitchen had a island with a overhang for stools that our two year old granddaughter banged her head on daily ending in tears. Lots of the draws were just full of stuff not suitable for small children,,,hammer, screwdrivers, glue, spare bits and pieces for things around the house which little fingers find interesting. The bathrooms all had a box on the floor containing bleach and other cleaning stuff which again not good for little people, these should de out of the way or at least out of reach. The booklet inside said the cleaner needed the whole 7 hours to turn the house around for the next guests, apparently laundry taking most of the time. Perhaps while waiting for the laundry to do the could clean the corners and the lamp shades as these were covered in dust. The house is supposed to be dog friendly but dogs are asked to be kept downstairs when the living room is upstairs . The bookcase with children games and various books was a great addition apart fromm the three large boxes of matches and box of fire lighter Over all enjoyed our stay but couldn't relax properly as needed to keep an extra eye on the grandchildren who loved to explore being 8 year old and a 2 year old.the 13 year old was fine as loved his space to himself having his own room. For the £2000 + price we would have expected more than we got

The cottage was beautiful and in the perfect location with the beach being a 5 min walk away. Cromer town centre was 1 min down the road and there were several lovely cafes and a Co-op literally round the corner. The bed was also the most comfy thing I’ve ever slept on, it was honestly divine! My daughter enjoyed the bunk beds in the second bedroom and also complimented them on being extremely comfortable. The only reason for not giving a 5 star on everything was that the stairs are so tightly curved and extremely narrow that I was scared to come down them whilst carrying anything, which made things slightly difficult, but we did get more used to them by the end of the week, lol! Overall, an absolute gem of a holiday cottage and one that we will most definitely be coming back to ??

Superb quiet location. It doesn't have parking but there is parking at the side of the church on first come basis. The entrance is at the side and lit when dark automatically. Location wise you couldn't ask for a better central location that is realy quiet. Kitchen has everything you need, lounge too. Quality furniture both upstairs and down. Small apt bathroom is downstairs, shower, sink and toilet. It has a steep winding staircase to 2 large sized bedrooms, hair-dryer. All beds are really comfortable and the decor is lovely. The house was immaculate. You couldn't get any closer to the beach within yards down the steps. Perfect !

Brilliant cottage! We had a lovely week with 6 adults and a toddler. The house is bigger than the pictures and description make it look with lots of bathrooms and spacious bedrooms. The kitchen is one of the best equipped I've ever come across. Location is fantastic- walking distance to beach, cafes, restaurants and shops. We were slightly concerned about parking, but managed to find spaces for two cars nearby with no problem. The parking space at the back is accessed by a narrow lane, so be aware that if you have a wide 4x4 or similar, you probably would struggle (our Astra was fine). Would definitely recommend!

First visit to North Norfolk and Cromer - won't be the last! The Coach House was actually choice after being let down on a property in Sheringham. On reflection this was a blessing in disguise. Property is fantastic and ideal for us to leave our car on the drive for most of the week.Recommendations; Gibson's Bistro, No.1 Cromer, The Grove for afternoon tea, and the Old Rock Shop bistro/ West Street Deli. Fantastic bread from craft bakery, and North Sea Coffee was excellent. Blickling and Felbrigg, great for NT visiting, but otherwise Cromer is such a great place to explore.
