      Enjoyable stay in Coach House Cottage at the end of September with our dog. Ten minutes walk to the coast and lovely walks around and about including over to Sheringham and getting the Poppy Line train back to Weybourne station. We found the area quite dog friendly which was lovely, with cafes etc happy to accept a well behaved dog on the premises - especially useful with the changing weather! An added bonus for us was that for four nights we were treated to a wonderful display of the Milky Way as Weybourne is in the Dark Skies area. The Ship Inn - 2 minutes walk away - does a fabulous Sunday lunch but you need to book in advance....even before you arrive! Our stay was end of September/early October! Evening meals are also served some evenings - again booking essential. The village shop opposite is well stocked and also serves teas/coffees/ breakfast and snacks.

The unique set up of having the bedrooms at each end of the caravan, and each having their own a separate shower and toilet was very convenient. Bedrooms and beds were comfortable and with lots of space for your clothes.<br /> The living area and kitchen also very unique in the set up which really worked well for us. Nice big enclosed area all round the caravan and plenty room for parking, and situated in a very nice location. Having the entrance porch is so very useful, especially when coming back in with the dog etc.<br /> We have had many holidays in caravans at Kelling Heath and would rate Green Shores has being one of the most comfortable we have stayed in.<br /> <br /> ”

      Very 'bijou' little place which has grown on us. Very well equipped, better than some of the bigger properties we have stayed in. Everything labelled which is great and very clear. We love North Norfolk as it has so much to offer. We really enjoyed our stay here and so did our very large elderly Golden retriever- Oscar, who made himself very comfortable!! Favourite Memory- Cliff walk, Sheringham, Blakeney. Eating at the Pheasant Hotel. Crab Sandwiches at the Salthouse and The Red Hart, Bodham for decent pub grub.

      We had a lovely week beautiful village with The ship pub serving excellent food and very friendly corner shop and cafe which is very handy for pint of milk or a lovely coffee and cake good location re exploring all along the coast line .The Waves was smaller than we had anticipated ok for 2 we feel shower a bit temperamental and felt a little cold at times but perhaps that’s more to do with the start of our summer this year all in all we had a lovely week. We feel slightly over prices for time of year .

    West Runton Beach

    West Runton beach is a lovely sandy/shingle beach and is located between Sheringham and Cromer. It has many rock pools and fossils can be found in the sandstone cliffs behind the beach. It is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) due to having the largest chalk reef in Europe. It is popular with surfers, sun bathers, fossil hunters, rock poolers’, swimmers and divers alike. Lifeguard service. Dogs are allowed sections of the beach. Slipway.
