What our customers say about their holidays

    • Mrs Sharon Egan - Verified booking

Fantastic holiday cottage. Games room a real bonus. Lots of space. Enclosed garden for dog. Beds were lovely and comfortable (if you like a hard ish bed which we do). The showers were good too. The beach was 15 mins walk away and can have the dog off lead. The Ship Inn pub was two mins walk and served great food including for vegetarians with some vegan options. The broads were accessible too with Wroxham being a 50 min drive away - we hired a boat for a day, lots of fun. Would definitely rebook this cottage if coming back to the area. Only small negatives were that the cleaners had missed some areas including the toilet and there wasn’t enough cleaning materials to easily resolve. Had to buy some - would recommend to the owners to put toilet cleaner and brushes in each bathroom. Also in the house rules book it was requested that dogs were not allowed on the beds and not to let the dog urinate on the grass - would have been helpful to know this in advance. It wasn’t too much of an issue but we have a springy spaniel who is used to doing both so took a bit of managing. Overall though a lovely cottage, thank you.

What a wonderful bank holiday weekend stay in this wonderful cottage, so well presented and comfy. The weather has been good to us, so have been out and about to Blakeney, Cley and Salthouse. We walked up to Kelling Heath through the gorse bushes in flower waving at the steam train, admiring the bluebells, primroses and lords and ladies in the woods. The dads army event at Weybourne station surprised us abit as we returned to the beach. its a good six mile walk to stretch the legs. Possible stop over in The Ship Inn or coffee shop in Weybourne. Otherwise we've been sitting in the sun in the suntrap of the garden listening to the bird life and enjoying the peace and quiet f this tranquil location. For food we recommend the The Duncow, Two Magpies, Cookies crab shop, Thank you very much, and to anyone staying have fun!

A lovely house, in a good location. The house was easy to find (first/last on the road), with a big area to park. The house itself is lovely and decorated/furnished to a high standard. The bed was massive and comfortable in the main bedroom with a handy ensuite. The kitchen was top quality with a good size dining room off it and a handy utility room and downstairs toilet. The living room was large and comfy, with a smart TV and the garden leading off it - handy if you have a dog. The whole place was very clean and felt very new. We wanted a base from where we could travel to different places each day, and this location was great for that. We would definitely recommend.

The house is beautiful and finished to a high standard with luxurious beds, towels and bedding, the welcome pack was of high quality and much appreciated. If you are travelling with dogs please note that they are not allowed on sofas, or any carpeted areas (the stairs - which has no stair gate and upstairs) and they also need to sleep in the utility room, if you intend to use the front garden there are only two chairs so you may want to bring your own. The house is in a great location for exploring beautiful Norfolk and we had a lovely week.

Lovely spacious property with a great games room. Unfortunately both tumble drier and washing machine doors had broken and the gate wouldn’t shut so the garden was not secure for our dog. However after ringing to report, someone came out to secure gate and another who ordered parts for both appliances. Too late for us I’m afraid which was very disappointing, especially with a baby. It’s one of the reasons we picked the property. Lovely location with great food at the local.
