What our customers say about their holidays

    • Ms Patterson - Verified booking

I am sure this property would be nice in a warm summer but I stayed at the end of September and found it cold and a bit damp with electric radiators which were hard to programme. It is nicely finished as a holiday let but it was very small especially as advertised for four people - I would say 2 adults maximum as there is very little storage space for all your holiday stuff. It is situated under trees which made it a bit dark but in the summer it must get the afternoon sun on the decking. Weybourne is a nice location and it was within walking distance of the local pub, cafe and coast.

Whistles was perfect for our holiday, handy for the coast and North Norfolk inland as well. Accommodation was comfortable, nicely furnished, well equipped and very clean. The location is wooded and peaceful. Just a short and enjoyable walk to the beach. The village is pretty and the pub is nice. Instructions left by the owners for appliances etc were comprehensive and there was also thoughtful information about local walks, attractions and amenities. Owners live nearby and were very helpful with queries and requests when we texted them. Generous welcome goodies.

Lovely week here in Weybourne and very pleased to stay in this lovely chalet. Would recommend the walk past the windmill to the coast path and spend a little time learning about the history of the church. Further afield, try Mannington Hall for some lovely gardens and walks. Sheringham is also lovely - recommend Straits Fish & Chips - takeaway only, but great if eaten looking out to sea. For history fans check out the Muckleburgh Collection - very good museum and impressive display of tanks etc. Hope to come back soon.

We had a very lovely stay at Whistles. The place was immaculate and very homely. Whistles was very well equipped, and the owners left lots of essentials, like shower gel, milk, teabags etc which was very kind of them. Location is great. A very good pub called The Ship Inn and a little convenience shop are both within short walking distance. I would definitely recommend booking through Norfolk Cottages website and I would definitely recommend staying at Whistles.

Amazing. Omg !!!! This lodge was a dream come true. Myself, husband, daughters and grandkiddies had the bestest time. It had everything you could possibly need, we even borrowed the luxury chairs in the shed and took them to the beach. Walks every night round the forest. We will definitely book this beautiful lodge again. Money well spent !!!! And memories to last forever. Thank you for making this just perfect.
