    SEA LIFE Hunstanton

    On the South Promenade in Hunstanton is the SEA LIFE sanctuary and aquarium. It's a popular family attraction that also houses Norfolk's Seal Rescue Center and Hospital. Because of the large population of Common Seals and Grey Seals along this stretch of the North Norfolk coast, the seal hospital cares for injured and vulnerable seals and seal pups until they can be released back into the wild. As well as the penguin beach, you can see insects and creepy crawlies at Rainforest Ranger basecamp, then walk through the ocean tunnel and see a huge variety of sea creatures.     Oxburgh Hall is a moated medieval manor house that was built for Sir Edmund Bedingfeld in 1482, and 500 years later the Bedingfeld family still live in private apartments at the house. The red bricked manor house includes a fort style roof design and a gatehouse which is encompassed by a moat. The house sits in parkland with themed gardens and woodland areas. The house's interior is lavishly furnished and decorated - look out for the furniture collection, the ornate historic wallpaper designs, the art collection, the priest hole and the Medieval and Tudor manuscripts.
