What our customers say about their holidays

Perfectly located on the coast road within walking distance of Thornham’s two lovely pubs, the bus stop is also right outside. 3 Knights cottages was clean and cosy, beautifully furnished. The underfloor heating was a real bonus for our winter break. The small enclosed garden was very safe for our two dogs. We loved the fact that all the bedrooms were en-suite with plenty of room for five adults, we felt they would just benefit with a few more storage additions such as shelves in the bathrooms and hooks on the back of the doors. The views over the marsh from the top floor bedroom are a birdwatchers dream! We loved the open plan kitchen/ living space which was very sociable for a family gathering. Can’t wait to return in the summer!

Absolutely loved our stay. A great base from which to explore Brancaster with its amazing sand dunes and huge sandy beaches. The house itself is extremely well equipped with nice mugs for tea, sharp knives and even a lovely salad bowl. The location is peaceful away from the main road but still walking distance to the beach. Owner was extremely thoughtful, providing hot water bottles, especially as we were staying during a cold snap. The house was nice and warm throughout the stay with a very effective central heating system and log burner. We have lots of allergies (dust mites, pets etc.) and the wood floors and general high level of cleanliness was brilliant. Overall I would highly recommend this house.

Lovely house, great location and wonderfully well equipped. Truly a home away from home - and the Christmas decorations were much appreciated. Welcome hamper from the owner was a lovely touch. Owner was also great at checking in ensuring all was ok, that we knew of local things to do and how to get in touch if needed - without ever feeling intrusive. Whilst this time we weren’t working, wifi was great and could have allowed us to work if we needed to. It’s a place we would really love to go back to. Thank you for preparing such a lovely home for us for the week.

We will definitely return! We would thoroughly recommend staying here. The house is spacious and clean with a lovely modern decor. To have an en suite in all three bedrooms is a real bonus. We enjoyed waking up to the fabulous views from the top floor. There is also electric in the parking area which we weren't expecting so we were able to charge the car.The location is ideal for various coastal walks and also two brilliant dog friendly gastro pubs in walking distance along with a dog friendly deli.We will definitely be back to stay again.

    Wells-next-the-Sea Beach

Wells Beach is easily one of Norfolk's finest. The sand goes on for miles and miles and hundreds of quirky colourful beach huts on stilts, run along the pine forest wall and back dunes. You can access the beach via the nearby carpark or it's a short walk or miniature rail ride from town along the East Fleet river.

    Old Hunstanton

Old Hunstanton is a small village adjacent to Hunstanton, a major seaside resort. Unlike its busy sibling, Old Hunstanton retains its quiet character, it has a clifftop walk along the stripped cliffs where you will pass Old Hunstanton Lighthouse and ruins of St Edmund's Chapel. A stunning 40-mile stretch of Norfolk coast path starts near Old Hunstanton. The large sandy beach has sand dunes and is popular with kite surfers and families alike. The Old Town Beach Cafe on the beach serves up delicious food and drinks and is dog friendly.
    Holkham Hall
Holkham Hall is a magnificent Palladian Mansion in North Norfolk. Spend a whole day here admiring the Hall, the walled garden and the beautiful grounds.

    Hunstanton Heritage Gardens

Overlooking the only stretch of the eastern coast facing west, the Hunstanton Heritage Gardens is a public open space. Views across the Wash are spectacular at sunset. Hunstanton's only significant open space covers approximately 6.8 hectares. A Victorian promenade garden with formally laid out annual beds, the Esplanade Gardens remain remarkably unchanged since they were built. The Green, Hunstanton, Norfolk, PE36 6BQ

    SEA LIFE Hunstanton

On the South Promenade in Hunstanton is the SEA LIFE sanctuary and aquarium. It's a popular family attraction that also houses Norfolk's Seal Rescue Center and Hospital. Because of the large population of Common Seals and Grey Seals along this stretch of the North Norfolk coast, the seal hospital cares for injured and vulnerable seals and seal pups until they can be released back into the wild. As well as the penguin beach, you can see insects and creepy crawlies at Rainforest Ranger basecamp, then walk through the ocean tunnel and see a huge variety of sea creatures. It is mostly wheelchair and mobility scooter friendly. Toilets and a cafe.
