We arrived after a stop at Brancaster beach to stretch the legs after driving up. The cottage was immaculate, testament to the cleaner who we met on our arrival (we were early!) Everything you could possibly need is here, Katy & Phil have thought of everything. Not knowing the area, we went for a walk to The Railway Inn, a great place with a menu to suit all. We visited Felbrigg Hall which was gorgeous, then on to Cromer. The kids enjoyed the park behind the cottage and a home cooked meal in the evening. Next day was a visit to Sandringham, such a refreshing ''normal'' house, well worth a visit. We spent the afternoon strolling around Hunstanton before finishing off with fish and chips from docking. Our final day was spent with a brief stop at Beacham Lighthouse then Wells Next To The Sea, another great place to visit. We finished off with a stroll around Blakeney Point and dinner at the White Horse (Holme) which was superb. Sad to leave, but will console ourselves with a future visit and a stop off at Thornham Deli for the journey home! Thank oyu Katy,Phil and boys, your cottage is delightful and the games kept us all occupied in the evenings!

We were here for 2 weeks and have had a lovely stay. The cottage is great, comfortable abd completely fulfilled our needs. Docking is a great place to explore this side of the country. The best thing for us was that for the full 2 weeks that we were here, there were no other people in the other cottages in this row and it was blissfully peaceful. As we already live in Norfolk and are familiar with the area, it was good to eat in some lovely establishments that we haven't already tried i.e. The White Horse at Brancaster, The Lifeboat at Thornham, The Rose & Crown at Harpley. Thornham Deli's Drove orchards are always a must whilst here. We managed lots of walks up and down hills and lots of bike rides up and down hills. We had the best weather too. This lovely cottage was also very popular with a Blackbird family who each evening were sunbathing in the gravel outside the front door :) I will miss them.

Dear Cook Family,We had a lovely week staying in your delightful cottage. It was perfect for the three of us and it is well equipped- you're thought of everything. We've enjoyed our time in North Norfolk. Our son is mad on trains so we couldn't go without at least 2 steam train rides - Sheringham to Wroxham and the beautiful Bure Valley narrow gauge. Both fully recommended. the weather has been terrific so we had beach days at Wells-Next to the Sea and Holkham is brilliant for sandcastles, sea shells and beautiful walks. We also visited Holkham hall which was very enjoyable. Norfolk is a beautiful county and is so clean and picturesque. We will undoubtedly be back in the future.

We had a fantastic week enjoying and exploring the local area. The cottage is beautiful and so comfortably furnished. It had absolutely everything we needed and everything is of such high quality. The children were so excited to see Blue the horse out of their window and talked about him endlessly! The cottage is also so well located. We couldn't believe how many things there were to see that were only 10-15 drive away. We were lucky enough to enjoy beautiful sunny weather, and highlights were days out at Snettisham, Pensthorpe Natural Park and Sandringham. We haven't stayed over this side of Norfolk before but it has so much to offer. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We had a lovely holiday in this very comfortable cottage. The furnishings and decorations are very homely and of excellent quality. The toys for Toddlers wew an unexpected bonus, the magnetic building blocks were a big hit. We have been to North Norfolk many times, this is our first time staying in Docking. It was a great base to visit our favourite places in the area. We loved the village, pizza from the van is fab and great fish and chips. We visited the Sealife Centre in Hunstanton, took a ride on the light railway at Wells . Spent the day on the beach at Old Hunstanton and Brancaster. Thank you for a lovely stay. We hope to return in the future.
