This was our 3rd stay with Carbis Bay holidays at Belyars Croft.
Although the apartments are good this was the worst one we have stayed in. The bed in the master bedroom was really uncomfortable & past itâs sell by date. We didnât sleep all week. The bedding was like sandpaper & really uncomfortable. The washing machine when used stunk the entire apartment out & made our clothes smell worse after washing. The tumble dryer barely dried anything so we had to give up. The apartment is clearly due some money spending on it. It needs redecorating as thereâs scuffs on the walls & doors. The two chairs in the living area are looking grubby. The decking on the balcony needs pressure washing & restaining. There are cracked tiles around the tap in the master bathroom & the shelf above the sink is hanging off itâs brackets. The increase in prices since covid for these apartments is totally unjustified as the quality hasnât improved.

Shippen is a fantastic apartment!
Spotlessly clean, comfortable and just a few steps from the beach at Hope Cove. Apart from the bedroom, every room has a fantastic seaview and it was lovely to sit and watch the ever changing sea and sky. The patio was a great spot to enjoy breakfast and a coffee, again, with a seaview. The owners of the property have thought of everything you could possibly need whilst on a break and it was the most well equipped holiday let we have ever stayed in. We enjoyed some lovely meals at The Hope and Anchor - shout out to the staff there who are so very welcoming. We enjoyed a day in Salcombe which was beautiful and only a 15 minute drive away. We would highly recommend Shippen and Hope Cove for a few days away and would definitely return.

We enjoyed our stay at Sea View in St Austell.
The flat was very clean, modern and well maintained. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed was comfortable. We hadn't been expecting the small "dressing room" so that was an added bonus. There is a sea view from the sitting room window. The flat is very conveniently located opposite a Tesco Extra but we did not experience any noise from the road or car park there: the flat's double glazing is efficient. The flat was also within walking distance (for us) from St Austell rail/bus station which made travelling around by public transport easy. We were able to visit the Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Charlestown, East Pool Mine, Mevagissey and Wheal Martyn Clayworks all by bus, train or walking. We had a good holiday!

This apartment is just gorgeous.
Everything we needed was provided even if we decided to stay in one night and cook. We have been coming to St ives for over 20 years and we have to say this is the most well equipped place we have ever stayed.On arrival it was spotlessly clean,light and airy. Tea,coffee, milk, biscuits and little chocolate buttons which our girls loved were waiting for us which was great after a long journey from Yorkshire. Beautiful views from the living room and balcony which we were able to enjoy as even though it was the end of October we had mostly lovely weather. We would definitely like to return to this luscious apartment in future. Thankyou for a lovely holiday.

The property was perfect.
Everything you could need, from jacuzzi, dishwasher, mini freezer to Lavazza coffee maker. The owner had even added some fresh flowers and a nice welcome note in the entrance that added a personal and friendly touch on my arrival. The steps up to the property led onto a private balcony with seating and great views over St Austell and the sea. Tesco Extra is located literally opposite with bus stops close by that can take you into the town and further afield if you don't have your own transport. Overall I was very pleased with this property and would certainly consider returning in the future.
