What our customers say about their holidays

Just returned from a fantastic 6 day stay at Coach House Cottage in Ingleton.

On arrival we were met by Lisa and Ryan, the owners who live in the main house next door. A lovely couple who were always on hand to assist, but never intrusive. There was also a nice welcome pack. The cottage is very cosy, with its quirky layout, which is long and narrow with little elevation changes to the three separate bedrooms. The kitchen-diner is on the lower level at the back and is approached by a fairly steep staircase. The kitchen whilst quite compact, is very nice and new, with everything that you could possibly need. Decent mobile reception and WIFI signal is fine and free. There are terrestrial TVs in the lounge and each bedroom, but can't comment as didn't use them. The rear patio is a beautiful sun trap with new furniture, hot tub, barbeque and great views of the river and the old viaduct. We had Roxy our very inquisitive Staffie with us. Whilst she was made very welcome and allowed full access to the whole property, including the gardens and the lower level terraces leading to the river, security may be an issue for some, if your dog is a wanderer or a cat chaser. There are however sliding privacy screens which would contain all but the most enthusiastic escapees. The beautiful village centre is a ten minute walk away, with good dog-friendly pubs, friendly locals, fantastic bakery and two Coop's. Easy access to lots of great walks. We did The Waterfall Trails, Ingleborough, White Scar Caves(not dog friendly) and Malham Cove(a short drive away). We would have no hesitation in recommending Coach House Cottage and will definitely be returning.

We visited Coppa hill Barn at the end of June and despite the weather we had an absolutely fantastic time.

There were 16 of us in total, 8 adults and 8 children and the accommodation perfectly suited our needs. Emily was amazing with her communication as we had a few queries before we went, I emailed her and she got back to me clearly and promptly. When we arrived we were overjoyed with what we greeted with. The barn is massive and so clean. All the fittings and fixtures were of high quality. We were delighted with the welcome pack which contained so many lovely goodies. We couldn't believe how well the kitchen was stocked with lots of utensils, cleaning products and appliances. It really did have everything. the hot tub was beautiful and we all really enjoyed relaxing in it. The location was perfect for us, very quiet yet nearby towns were within easy reach. We were really sad when we had to leave but we made some amazing memories. We would really love to visit this property again. A massive thank you to Emily as when we returned home I realised I had left my sons dressing up outfit and England trousers. He was really upset but Emily promptly found them (along with a charger ) and returned the items to us, which I thought was very kind. Thanks again for a lovely stay,

This property is, by far, the best one we have ever booked through your company.

Everything - from the furniture to the crockery - is top quality and simply all that you could possibly need is most generously provided. We have never stayed anywhere that is so superbly equipped, especially the kitchen and laundry. The beds are extremely comfortable and well organised to ensure everyone has a good night’s rest. There are currently 17 in our family party with an age range of 6 months to 88 years, two of whom have mobility problems, and yet every single person was most comfortably accommodated. The seven bathrooms are a real bonus and the space both indoor and out meant we never felt crowded. The hot tub, with the beautiful view, was well used and especially appreciated by those who had enjoyed climbing the Three Peaks. Our hosts were also just perfect - welcoming, informative and on hand if needed. It was lovely to have a Meet & Greet rather than the usual (more impersonal) key code. The Welcome Basket was simply out of this world. Thank you.

The owners of this property are truly lovely and live next door.

The view from the garden is gorgeous and you can walk down to the river. The cottage is really lovely and has 3 en suite double bedrooms which are all great sizes. This is not a 4 storey town house as advertised (this nearly put us off due to thinking it had lots of stairs) but is a cosy and quirky cottage set out over a few different levels with a few steps between each. But it has less stairs than most 2 storey houses, so don't let that put you off. Currently this property does not have an enclosed garden as advertised, but the lovely owners are planning to make it enclosed very soon. The owners left lots of nice touches and gifts and comforts in the holiday cottage, which were much appreciated. The main bedroom has a very comfy bed (can't speak for the other rooms as only used one) there is a lovely hot tub for the cottage use. This location is great for the Ingleton waterfalls walk. Would highly recommend.

From the minute we arrived we felt like the whole property was home from home.

Well equipped, immaculate and so tastefully decorated. This property has it all. The addition of the games room with the pool table was just perfect. It is pretty difficult to find a property to accommodate 7 couples all under one roof that means every couple has the privacy of their own double room and en suite bathroom but this place offers all that and more. Some of our group are pretty hard to please and there wasn’t a single person with a negative comment about this property. There are some beautiful country pubs in walking distance too. From the gorgeous welcome hamper to the attentive owner we honestly cannot praise this place enough. Wonderful time had by all - We will be back!!
