We had a lovely week and the cottage was lovely.
With young children I enjoyed the no clutter feel and fact everything was off the ground - easy to find lost toys. Despite having booked for 5, I was disappointed that only 4 sets of towels were left out - the hand towels were too small to use for the baby. However the real disappointment of the holiday was the kitchen. There were only 3 dinner plates, which for a booking of 4/ 5 was insufficient. The kitchen was home to 13 egg cups and 10 wine glasses, yet no corkscrew. The pans had seen better days and the oven trays felt/ were cheap ( I was disappointed there was nothing like a pyrex dish for a pasta bake, but appreciate this one may be down to personal cooking preference). The serving utensils were so cheap they almost folded in half holding a spoonful of veg. Additionally the knives were limited - only 2 small veg knives - nothing suitable for cutting bread. I don't think it would cost the earth to provide a bottle of washing up liquid either. ( As it happens we were in our camper van so had our own crockery we could use but most wouldn't). I would recommend but manage people's expectations.

We had a great time at the farm.
The house was great for 11 of us with lots of space for both adults and children, especially as the weather wasnât great. The hot tub was such a bonus, especially for the children, who went in most days. It was good having 2 lounges as we kept one for adults to sit in during the evening and another for the kids and most of their toys. The house was cosy, even though big, and always warm. The owner was very helpful and easily contactable when we needed extra equipment. The only reason why Iâve given 4 stars for comfort is that a couple of the beds were uncomfortable, the en-suite double and en-suite king upstairs. Also, the en-suite in the king room upstairs was quite cramped compared to the spacious en-suite in the double. The room was large though. But we did have a good holiday thank you.

This property was amazing, much more spacious than the photographs do justice to.
An amazingly well renovated building, finished to a very high quality with everything you need available. The hosts had thought of everything - clear instructions for all appliances, a great welcome hamper, and ice in the freezer to allow us to start celebrating immediately. The place is truly spotless and well cared for, the hosts were in touch and very friendly/responsive. Location-wise this is property is in the middle of nowhere, exactly what we wanted! We had a party of 12 and never once felt cramped or on top of each other ... despite the fact we hardly left the very large kitchen diner area, so great or socialising and family time. I couldn't recommend this place enough. Amazing for the family event we were celebrating - 5 generations of us and it cater to us brilliantly.

Sarah is most definitely a super host.
She couldnât do enough for us and she was on hand anytime we needed her. We had a little issue with plumbing and her husband and Sarah sorted it with in a few hours. The house is amazing and we loved it for Christmas. It was big enough for us all and we never felt on top of each other. The games rooms is great fun and hot tub as well with the views itâs amazing. This was a wonderful Christmas for us to be with all the family and the home and was beautiful decorated as well on our arrival. This is definitely one of the beautiful holiday homes we have stayed in and we will be back. Thank you to Sarah and her family. But most of all thank you Sarah for all the advise before our arrival to make sure our Christmas was perfect. Xx

What an absolutely beautiful place this is!
As a group of friends who regularly enjoy cottage breaks in Wales we were so impressed with Sarah and Eifionâs home from home. The house is extremely spacious, tastefully furnished and has a relaxing, comfortable feel throughout. Itâs well equipped, clean and has tons of natural light. The surrounding countryside is nothing short of stunning and there is so much outside space to enjoy within the grounds of the house and far beyond. We had lots of fun playing pool in the games room and relaxing in the well positioned hot tub. Sarah is a lovely, friendly host who made us feel very welcome - thank you! We couldnât fault our week away and very much hope to return to this amazing property in a beautiful, peaceful part of Wales in the near future.
