This is a beautiful eco house with a private garden (perfect for our 2 dogs) surrounded by 5 acres of the Suffolk countryside. It was suitable for our needs having 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. The kitchen was stocked with everything you may need including home made scones and homemade conserves and honey ( from the owners own hives), delicious. It is very peaceful with a big playground across the track for children. Views of the orchard with apples and pears, hollyhocks and wild flowers everywhere was lovely. Very close to the CC campsite for groups of friends with caravans or campers. The owners live next door but were not intrusive and were extremely helpful. Internet is available and also games, boules and a small library. Everything you need for a wonderful holiday without leaving the grounds. We would highly recommend this cottage.

Property description very good, unfortunately the cleanliness within only looked ok at first glance. Dust/dirt beside fridge, rubbish beneath soft furnishings ie pen top, apple core and dust, mirrors wiped over leaving marks, a sticky dinning room chair back, my husband wrote the date on one of the dressing room table mirror bases in dust. We took our two smallish dogs for three nights so as requested used the Hoover to remove any trace …. The Hoover wasn’t usable until cleaned out, previous user had sucked up water and dust/rubbish had hardened inside. It gave an appearance that the owners, whilst very nice people had given up on the care. However the property was perfect for dog lovers and catered very well for them this isn’t always the case and the owners have to be fully commended for this.

This is an incredible find which we liked so much we have now stayed here twice. Perfectly located on the outskirts of a charming village yet on a quiet one way street void of any traffic to speak of but also within short walking distance to the village centre. Off street parking, which I personally find very important, is available at this house. Beautifully furnished and decorated to a high standard. A well laid out kitchen with all appliances clean and in good order. An efficient shower and bath on the first floor with a copious hot water supply. Compfy beds, cosy rooms, I could type endlessly on how great a find this wee house is but quite honestly, it is just fabulous.

One of the most beautiful and quirky cottages we have ever stayed in. Some internal steps to cope with so may not suit everyone but to us, it was perfect. The attention to detail and quality of furnishings and decor is excellent. Location is fabulous, with several great cafes and pubs to sit and watch the world go by (particularly recommend the White Hart). Great to have a parking space albeit a little tricky to manoeuvre to start with but very soon got used to it and no problems (we have a Maxda CX30 as a guide). Dog friendly garden which the dogs loved. Would definitely book again.

Lovely cottage in a very convenient location. Beautifully decorated and furnished throughout. Quirky layout that works with the sloping landscape so ground floor is on three levels. This means the ground floor bedroom is far from the other two - not a problem for us but might not suit families with young children. Supermarket and shops / takeaways nearby. Drive for parking off road is nice as the road is permit only, but if your car is bigger than a small hatchback you will probably need to park elsewhere. Good base for visiting Norwich, Sutton Hoo and Southwold.
