What our customers say about their holidays

    • Mrs Dickinson - Verified booking

Wow, a real home from home! The flat was amazing, so very spacious for a couple (and a pooch), we looked forward to coming 'home' after our day trips out. The bed was so comfy that we are considering a mattress topper! Everything very stylish, but not pretentiously so, and you knew you were in Cornwall. Kitchen had everything and more. A great place to explore the far end of England! Last day the weather was atrocious, but this didn't matter as we binged watched a Netflix series. So much that could be promoted on the website though... hair dryer and straighteners ( I never use, but know people who would be amazed by this!), coffee making machine, Netflix available, eco friendly cleaning and toiletries products, quality loo roll, dog bed and bowl (again we always bring our own, but would be good for others to know!). Recommendations for us in terms of eating out on Marazion - nothing to do with the accommodation - is that only the Godolphin and Kings Arms were open at this time of year, all booked up, so our first meal was a Domino's pizza :(

We have enjoyed every minute of our stay. The apartment is really more like a cottage -very spacious, calm and comfortable- with good quality furnishing etc that made all the difference. The outside space was delightful. We used both the patio table and chairs and the loungers everyday. We loved that it was both private and had a view of the sea. Location in the centre of Marazion was great - within walking distance of several cafes and and places to eat. And as well as the wide main beach, we found the nearby 'Steps ' Beach (so called due to access) a real Plus as dog friendly all year round. We got much more than we were expecting, probably the nicest holiday let we've ever stayed in. Highly recommend.

Lovely property set in the centre of Marazion - a wonderful little town with lots of nice pubs, galleries and restaurants in the vicinity but also a sensible driving distance from other flagship areas of Cornwall. We parked our car nearby at the long-stay car park which is £50 for 7 days and a 10 minute walk from the property - just something to bear in mind when booking. The property itself is beautifully decorated and comfortable. It is very well set up for self catering - we were able to comfortably cook in the kitchen. There is a washing and dryer machine too. Outdoor area was larger than expected. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend.

    • Peter & Janet - Verified booking

The apartment was just as described - small but perfectly formed and very well equipped, especially the kitchen area.

We were pleased to find a full sized dishwasher, tall fridge freezer, full size cooker, full set of kitchen knives & plenty of crockery & glassware - perfect for self catering. As Sykes owners ourselves, we found the property thoughtfully equipped. The location was excellent - very quiet, facing the side of the next building, away from through traffic & with very few noisy seagulls - a bonus in St Ives! The bed was extremely comfy and we appreciated the Egyptian cotton bedding. Great also, to find bathroom & kitchen products and cloths. The only thing missing was a teapot!

Marazion is the perfect location for exploring western Cornwall, and Little Kantara is the perfect location for staying in Marazion. It is within close walking distance of the town's shops, pubs and restaurants, including a particularly charming and convenient walk-up coffee shop where you can get your morning latte or tea and scones. It is also close to the beach and both the causeway out to St. Michael's Mount and the dock where boats depart for the Mount. There are also bus stops for easy access to some of Cornwall's other treasures, including St. Ives and Mousehole.
