We've had such a lovely few days here at Braeside House. Its such a beautiful home and we've thoroughly enjoyed spending our evenings snuggled up in front of the fire playing games - Monopoly was a big hit! Its our first time here in Southwold, and what a pretty little town. The beach is like stepping into a postcard with the gorgeous little beach huts. We've loved exploring the town and soaking up the sights. Storm Jorge didnt stop us walking along the coast and enjoying the quirky games on the pier. Definitely recommend breakfast at the Adnams cafe and the gin distillery tour. The fish and chips from "The Little Fish & Chip Shop" were amazing too. Thank you for the memories here at Braeside, we've loved our holiday and can't wait to come back.

Excellent house. Spacious and very comfortable for 5 adults, baby and 2 dogs. Great enclosed garden so knew dogs were secure. Wonderful sun room which we used most of the time plus a cosy lounge was nice and cool for the warmer evenings. Well equipped. Modern bathrooms. Location was peaceful. Plenty of parking. House at the end of a very private un adopted lane so it was peaceful but a bit bumpy with pot holes and as we had two cars we did have to reverse out the driveway sometimes but it wasn't a major issue. Would definitely recommend this property. Easy walk to Southwold, Plenty of walks around Reydon from the house. Two convenient shops nearby for essentials and Chinese that delivers. Lots of lovely places nearby to visit.

The bedrooms, bathroom was well appointed clean and very nicely presented and equipped.
The whole property was clean and tidy, however we were a bit disappointed with the kitchen area which had hardly any space for food storage. The living area let down the rest of the property and looked tired in comparison. There was no dvd or did player as stated. We were pleased there wasn't so bad Internet coverage as expected from the property. The property was warm and dry. The setting was lovely and nice to look out on and outside facilities looked good, but due to the cold spell we didn't use them. We feel if we'd chosen the Spring or summer months we'd have been contend to spend time sitting outside. The actual location was brilliant for the coast, countryside with lots of lovely market towns nearby.

Very pleasant stay - with quality crockery and extras etc. Only concern is danger of slipping in the shower as there is no internal grip mat and the shower base is smooth. Would have liked option of softer pillows as all were too hard, bedside lamps did not give enough light and lovely though the extra ornaments were - a few too many covering surfaces which were needed for putting things on e.g.in bedroom on top of chest of drawers in front of mirror a big tray was a hinderance! Hopefully feedback is taken as helpful - we really did enjoy or stay and may well be back!!!

Comfortable dog friendly cottage with a cute little garden. Nice welcome pack provided. Good size conservatory/ dining room and country style kitchen with all the essentials. The second bedroom is quite a tight fit for 2 adults. Free car park just across the road and a nice little children’s playground. It’s just a short walk to the beach. There’s a really good little shop on the way that sells all the basics and also some very nice inexpensive souvenirs. Kessingland is a good location for a peaceful holiday and there are some good walks along the coast path.
