We enjoyed a week in your delightful cottage, thank you. On arrival we found a really home from home. - the provisions, wine + wild flowers were much appreciated too. We spent our time re-visiting old family memories (husbands family came: from Hunstanton & Heacham) as well as exploring the local area. • Sunday Lunch at The Nelson Inn, Burnham - highly recommended! • Holt was perfect for our retail therapy - with many independent shops & cafes/eateries. • Burnham Market had a more relaxed (but sill definitely up-market) feel - there was one store that was like an Aladdin’s cave - room after room of toys/gifts/hats + women’s wear! • The shrine at Walsingham is well worth a visit - so calm a tranquil. The town centre in Fakenham is somewhat jaded (like many towns - retail outlets closed in favour of out-of-town shops) - but there are three supermarkets, an excellent department store (Aldiss) - with a large dog welcoming cafe, a great Garden Centre + Langham Glass factory is worth a visit. We wondered whether the cottage might be a little too remote but, in actual fact, it was well placed for easy driving access to the local area + coast. Lovely relaxed stay in your cottage - we will certainly recommend Peony Cottage to others.

This is the first time booking through Sykes and I found it to be a quick and easy process.
The cottage was as described and the location was perfect for travelling to places like the Eden Project, St Ives, Truro, because you are not far from the A30. Upon arrival and contacting the owner we were met by him and shown around the cottage and then he left us to enjoy our holiday, but was on hand if we needed anything or any question answered. The cottage is in a lovely rural setting, it was very clean and everything was there that we needed, including milk in the fridge, a windbreaker and chairs to take to the beach (in case you didnât take any) There was a bookshelf full of dvds, games and books to entertain you when you arrived back after a long day sightseeing, this was a lovely touch. When we were there we used the JustPark app which was very useful as you havenât always got change for the parking, also it gave you directions to find your car and you could add time without going back to your car, which is always handy if you are still on the beach. We loved this area and the cottage was just perfect for us as a family of 3, also it is designed to be very wheelchair friendly and is ideal if you have got a family member that is either disabled or is in a wheelchair. We are definitely going to book for next year.

The house was generally very warm and comfortable, and it was very clean when we arrived.
We enjoyed the views from the lounge and master bedroom, despite the somewhat grey and damp weather! The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans etc, and the welcome cream tea was lovely! The king size bed was extremely comfortable but the two single beds were quite soft so our parents found their backs aching a bit by the end of the week. It would be helpful to include in the property description that the lounge is upstairs - this is not currently in the listing (I re-checked) and we may have thought twice about booking had we known, as we travelled with elderly parents who struggle with stairs. The sofa was quite low and soft which again, made it difficult for the older members of our party. There were plenty of items in the property to provide entertainment (both indoor and outdoor) which is throughtful, plus a folder full of detailed local information. The TV and washing machine were quite old - they did work but we are used more modern (and have experienced better in other holiday cottages) but overall, this house provided what we needed for an early break away.

Mr and Mrs Farmer are lovely and very helpful.
The location is beautiful and so peaceful. It isn't easy to find holiday accommodation for people with physical disabilities. The cottage was lovely and ideal, with lots of room for a person with mobility issues to move around in. The wet room is also very helpful for disabled persons or persons with mobility issues. There is lots of info about Cornwall, maps and places to see etc. available. DVD's and SKY tv provided as well as WiFi. I don't have anything negative to say about the cottage and my stay. My mom, the person with mobility issues, only had one little grumble and that was that she found the couch a little too low and struggled to get up from it. Apart from that, she loved her stay too. We will definitely book this cottage again if we are travelling to Cornwall and would recommend it to anyone with a physical disability who is planning a trip to Cornwall.

Beautiful spot to stay with our two dogs.
Lovely clean accommodation with a comfortable, large bed. The kitchen was well equipped for any self catering and there was a welcome scone and cream tea on our arrival. The house is mid-way between Beer (10mins) and Seaton (15mins) walk. There's a large supermarket in Seaton, 5 mins drive if you need provisions and a small village shop in Beer if you need emergency milk. Plenty of pubs in the local area and most shops and pubs are dog friendly. We walked to Branscombe which was very pleasant and had a lovely meal and drink by the beach, followed by a stroll back through the countryside. Thoroughly recommended
